Keith Dalton
Keith
has been carving since 2001. He grew up around carvers but never took
up the craft until recuperating from a knee injury. He started carving
with just one basic knife and has now switched over to being a power
carver. Keith has competed in many competitions, winning many first
place ribbons including Best of Open. Watch Keith’s fun and easy way to
carve critters, including detailed instruction on burning fur and
painting the final carving.
Keith
was born and raised in east Tennessee. He is a construction worker by
trade. Keith is mostly a self taught carver, but has taken classes and
received helpful advice from some of the best carvers in the country.
Keith works and teaches at Smokey Mountain Woodcarvers in Townsend,
Tennessee.
